FEEL DEEP is an SSI scuba diving school and watersports center in Lapu-Lapu City, Mactan, Cebu. We have been welcoming divers since 2007, from nervous first-timers to certified divers who want to explore the marine sanctuaries around Mactan Island. Our SSI instructors teach in English and know these reefs well, so you get safe, relaxed and memorable dives.
Mactan is often called the gateway to Cebu. Most visitors pass through it on the way somewhere else, but divers who stay a few days discover excellent scuba diving just minutes from Mactan-Cebu International Airport. The east coast of Mactan drops from shallow reefs into deep walls, and the marine sanctuaries in the Olango Channel are full of fish, turtles and coral.

Fun dives for certified divers
Already certified? Shore dives are ₱1,000 per dive and night dives are ₱1,500 per dive. Full gear rental is ₱700 and Nitrox is ₱200 extra per dive.
The best dive sites around Mactan
Hilutungan Island Marine Sanctuary: turtles, schools of jacks, batfish and snappers, about 30 minutes by boat.
Nalusuan Island Marine Sanctuary: blue-spotted stingrays, big groupers and table corals on a gentle slope.
Talima Marine Sanctuary, Olango Island: healthy reef and plenty of fish.
Sardines at the Marine Station, Maribago: a huge school of sardines plus resident house reef turtles.
Plantation Bay Turtle Point: lots of house reef turtles feeding and resting on the reef.
Barring Marine Sanctuary: a reef wall with healthy marine life and a sunken bus artificial reef placed by the LGU.

When to go scuba diving in Mactan
You can dive Mactan all year. The water is usually around 27 to 30°C, so a thin wetsuit or rash guard is enough for most people. Calm mornings usually bring the best visibility, and our instructors pick dive sites based on the weather and current on the day. Just bring swimwear, a towel and reef-friendly sunscreen.
